Silent Night

Silent night, holy night,
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and Child.
Holy Infant, so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, holy night,
Shepherds quake at the sight;
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born!

Silent night, holy night,
Son of God, love’s pure light;
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.

Silent night, holy night
Wondrous star, lend thy light;
With the angels let us sing,
Alleluia to our King;
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born!

I haven’t been listening to the news

I’ve been listening to music (broadway and Christian) and Spanish. I don’t think I’ve missed much. Well, I’ve missed a couple of biggies, but someone else mentioned them and I quickly caught up. It’s been kind of nice. I don’t think I’ll be able to keep it up for long periods. I’m curious by nature, but I’m also a high A type who has worked very hard (through God’s magnificent graciousness) at giving up total control over everything in the entire world so that other people can have opportunities. 😉

And it’s kind of nice to belt out some favorites.
