So to what TV show are you addicted mmm committed ;)

With all the talk of LOST and 24 leaving us forever, I’m curious what shows you are on your just-have-to-see list.

For me, it’s LOST, Fringe, V and FlashForward. I have some other things that I subscribe to on hulu, but I just let them stack up and watch when I’ve got time. Actually, if I can’t subscribe to a show on hulu, I probably won’t keep watching it. Gotta be able to watch any show on my time table.

  1. haha well me liking a show in it’s early stages does seem to be the kiss of death for it. Happened with Doll House, but they pulled it together and ended it season 2 very nicely. I’ve been watching Happy Town after the fact. How can they know with only 2 shows it has to go?

  2. You don’t start a new series at the end of April and expect it to survive. It’s like putting a new show on Friday nights at 9.

  3. I’ve been watching V, Smallville, Supernatural, and Stargate Universe. Honestly, I’ve only been completely happy with Smallville and Supernatural though. I’m sad that next season will be their last.

  4. I dunno, Matt, every season was supposed to be the last. I think that Welling is typecast and is afraid to move on from a sure thing – all of his movies fizzled. Put in him the cape, and their might be magic

  5. I’m liking V. Human Target. I was addicted to Monk and that’s gone. I found one on Hulu called “Life” that only lasted a couple of seasons, so that addiction won’t be long. πŸ™‚

Bones. But I haven’t watched much.

  6. I don’t watch many shows on tv anymore. Most of my favorite shows are on dvd so I go out and buy the dvd sets. Monk is a must for me, as is Diagnosis Murder, I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, and The Beverly Hillbillies. I’m also a big fan of Leave It To Beaver, Are You Being Served, Keeping Up Appearances, and Ghost Whisperer. As you see, I’ve spent too much money on my dvd collection but the upside is I can watch what I want when I want, commercial free. πŸ™‚

  7. Daniel, I like Bones too, but something else always has my attention then.

Martin, I like the old shows too, but my tastes run more with Alfred Hitchcock πŸ˜‰ (also on hulu btw).

Peter, I haven’t seen Castle. Have to look it up.

  8. Castle is a good one.

All mine are through Hulu or DVD anymore. My life’s goal will now be to own all 19 or 20 seasons of Law and Order. I lost track of the show years ago, but loved it back then.

  9. I have V, Burn Notice, Flash Forward on my hulu queue, and am very upset that FlashForward got canceled. I thought the writing for FF got much better over the season. I use Netflix instant queue to watch Spartacus (which is very bloody and very naughty, but it had Lucy Lawless in it) and The Tudors. I just rewatched Season 1 of the Tudors this weekend. Brian says I’m ‘Tudor’ obsessed….just because I have 4 books out from the library about H8 and Anne Boleyn doesn’t make me obsessed. πŸ˜‰

  10. Lost, V, Desperate Housewives, and Brothers and Sisters. So, basically, for me, Sunday and Tuesday nights were the best TV nights!

  11. Ann, I’m wondering on FlashFoward if this is what we are left with. On DollHouse, they got a season 2 and could wrap up all the loose ends.

Wondering if the Tudors is on Hulu.

James – love sci fi. The other drama usually doesn’t grab my attention. Well, except for murder. Love murder πŸ˜‰
