Getting paid to do surveys!

  1. I actually get paid to take surveys. That’s how I can afford to buy books. Many are for Amazon gift certificates. It ends up being about minimum wage or a little more but works out well. You have to find the legitimate ones. But if you have a good paying job you wouldn’t want to waste your time.

  2. Wow! I’m impressed Jeff. I didn’t think all surveys were scams, but the ones with the checks ready to go in the mail have to be.

I do surveys for Neilson Homescan. And we have been scanning all our groceries for them. They give out prizes. I’ve done them for a few other outfits too, but some are so time consuming.

My biggest purpose in continuing to post these things is that they’ve got to be pulling folks in or they wouldn’t send them out willy-nilly and on some of these guys – there is nothing out there on them.

  3. We did the Homescan thing too. It took too much time. We got a really nice set of small garden tools and then dropped out.

I also did the surveys but they also took more time than they were worth.

When I first started doing them I signed up for a whole bunch but have pared them down a lot so that I’m not always taking surveys but have enough money for books.

  4. We were stuck because we were halfway through to getting merchandise before we realized it wasn’t worth it so we kept going until we finally got something and then were relieved.
