This article arrived in my inbox this a.m. Only one of the states was a surprise to me. Average salaries ranged from $57,000 to 64,500 (Numbers rounded).

    I knew Texas would not make the list (my wife is a pre-k/kindergarten teacher here), but I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else…Alaska might be nice, though.

    Peter – I thought the same thing about Alaska. My son has inlaws there and loves to visit. BUT I’d still have to convince Ron! I thought it was interesting that NO southern state was on the list (and hasn’t been as long as I can remember).
